The Fernie Alpine Resort bylaw amendments related to the Timber Landing subdivision are heading to a public hearing, and public input is invited.

The Regional District of East Kootenay (RDEK) will hear submissions on two bylaws that would allow Phase 3A of the Timber Landing development to proceed, with further phases tied to the delivery of an alternate emergency egress.

Residents with an interest in resort-area growth, emergency access, and evacuation planning are encouraged to attend or submit comments.
