How will I vote?
The City of Fernie will be using automated vote counting machines for the 2022 election. Using vote counting machines will significantly reduce the wait time to learn election results!

Here is how you will vote:

• Step 1 : Go to the polling station. The Fernie Citizen’s Drop-In centre will be the voting location for advanced voting and election day.

• Step 2 : Register. Get your paper ballot from an election worker.

• Step 3 : Vote. Mark your ballot with a black sharpie pen.

• Step 4 : Submit your ballot. Take your ballot to the counting machine. You can feed the ballot into the machine yourself or have an election worker do it for you.
