FAR Community Appreciation Day will say “thank you” to the local community offering a low-cost day of skiing and riding for residents of the Elk Valley, Jaffray, and Grasmere.

Eligible residents can purchase lift tickets by cash, debit, or credit donation, with all proceeds supporting the Fernie Food Bank. Minimum donations are $10 for ages 6–12 and $20 for ages 13 and up. Proof of local residency and photo ID are required. Tickets are valid only on January 11, 2026, and snow checks will not be issued.

Community Day tickets are available to residents of Fernie, Elko, Elkford, Sparwood, Jaffray, and Grasmere. Cranbrook-area residents are invited to participate in Community Appreciation Day at Kimberley Alpine Resort on the same date.
