Fernie Alpine Resort is extending a heartfelt thank you to its Elk Valley neighbours with two special Community Appreciation Days on Tuesday, August 5 and Thursday, August 7, 2025.

Locals are invited to enjoy extended chairlift hours, with the Elk Chairlift running from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm both days. In recognition of the community’s ongoing support, exclusive lift ticket offers and dining specials will be available to Elk Valley residents.

(One free kids’ meal with the purchase of an adult meal)

All proceeds from lift ticket donations will go directly to the Fernie Food Security Society, supporting local food programs and initiatives.

Eligibility & Access
These offers are available exclusively to residents of the Elk Valley, including Fernie, Elkford, Elko, Jaffray, and Sparwood. Photo ID and proof of residency are required.
