I’ve spent time in other town’s and cities, and i find this one is nice. If you think golf courses and land development companies are big corporations, check out the federal government or walmart. yikes. the world is changing, and local bob’s local bait and tackal shop might not make it by… if they throw a mega bob’s bait and tackal sale they might be able to compete with crappy tire.

How much is it for a reasonabel insurance in Canada? Is there a lot of taxes on cars in Canada – such as..?
I’m 24 and paying $135 CAD per month. I think I started out paying $230 per month 5 years ago. There are a few things that determine how much the insurance company will rip you off. The type of car, how long you have been driving and your insurance history.

I know someone that is passing through fernie in a month with a nice 4 door 1992 subaru. Fully safe/certified. They want to sell it for $1800. I was thinking of buying it myself, but I ended up fixing my current car. Let me know if you are interested.
I would recommend moving here for the winter when there is snow. I think the population here almost doubles in size in the winter, so with that comes a lot of new jobs. I’ve been here for the summer, and it is pretty quiet compared to the winter.
