Thanks Canatedian. I have been visiting Fernie both winter and summer for 4 years and have always had a blast.
Came within a crotch-hair of buying property there this summer.
Will be back this season. Fernie’s always done me right.

Booze, drugs and testosterone are nothing new to any town.
The vast majority of people can handle all 3 of the mix and still be socialble and good citizens.
The few we are talking about here are bullies. No excuses needed.
I’d love to hear what the Town Council and Police Dept. have in mind to keep these incidents at a minimum and to keep this brushfire under control.
Visitors and townsfolk deserve better than this.
I visited Fernie for 2 weeks in July during that major heat spell and bought a whack of inner tubes for my son and friend. We tubed down the Elk daily. What a treat. Contact me at herb@fernie.com
