Your ambulance service may be shut down when you need them!

This Communities Ambulance Service is now only being staffed by 8 or ten if you are lucky part time staff members. These members are working in excess of 550 hours a month. Does this sound safe to you? On any given evening you are lucky if there are two paramedics available to man one ambulance. This Ambulance station historically has been staffed by 2 Full time Paramedics and more than 20 partime staff. Please write to you MLA and MP and stress the fact that you believe that this government is putting your lives at risk with their slow disintegration of the BC Ambulance Service. As summer approaches there will be days where there will be no Ambulance available to answer your calls for help.
So when at the lake or riding your Quad remember if the unthinkable happens you may be on your own.
