Can anyone tell me how much a winter pass costs? Is there a local’s/worker’s rate?

No such thing as a local’s rate. Local’s pay the same price everybody else in the country would pay. I am sure most other resort’s have a local pricing plan, but local’s in Fernie get no love from the resort.
If you buy early there is a discounted price, but I think that is over.
I you work with the resort full time you get a pass for the time you work there. Not in the top ten places to work, but it gets you a free pass.

I just thought of this. If you by you pass in Alberta you can save by not paying BC PST.
This is how it works:
Fernie Season Pass $779
Purchase in BC 14.5% tax: $891.95
Purchase in Alberta 7% tax: $833.53 you save $58.42
