When is the best time to go to Fernie?

      I am planning to move to Fernie within the next 12 months to experience what so many dream of and I am wondering when is the best time to come.

      In the spring when the valley turns green, the rivers are flowing and the town is empty.

      Another question, is there work available during the spring? I have been told that spring/summer is Fernie’s off season?

      Hey,

      I would recommend moving here for the winter when there is snow. I think the population here almost doubles in size in the winter, so with that comes a lot of new jobs. I’ve been here for the summer, and it is pretty quiet compared to the winter.
