      Our daughter is getting married in Fernie – does anybody have ideas on good indoor and outdoor picture taking places – esp. indoor in case it rains or snows!

      Inside Park Place Lodge is nice for pictures if they can’t be outside

      I was at a wedding this summer at Island Lake Lodge (just above Fernie Provincial Park), and the surroundings were magnificent for wedding photos. If your event is in the fall or winter, you may want to check with their office in town if you can schedule a ride up for pictures. They were VERY accomodating in the summer – perhaps less so in the busy winter season.

      Actually Island Lake Lodge is closed in off season :(

      Tried to book our reception there for May and they are closed so it depends on when her wedding is.

      by the golf course is nice too, awesome mountain views.
