      Researching family genealogy. My great Uncle was Thomas Quinlan Roe. He was born in Hudson Wisconsin in 1880. He registered for World War 1 in 1918 and his card states he lived in Fernie BC as a clerk/bookkeeper for a lumber company . My mother remembered him living in Fernie too. Is there a genealogy society in Fernie or anyone that would be able to help. I can not locate a death certificate or anything else.

      Thank you. I wrote to the museum. I did find out from BC archives that he did pass away in Fernie BC on 12/16/31 so hope I locate obit.
