Humm, As I recall, the Mogul Smoker was a huge success in January 2001. Yes, we put on a class event and everyone had a great time. Any moneys that you are talking about were split evenly amongst the organizers. As far as I am concerned personally, I needed to leave Fernie to start my healing after a car accident, I used my money to move out of Fernie-to the island, to start the healing process. Also, money was used to put on a volunteer party to thank the volleys who helped out…and to pay the rental of busses and costs incured.
I am slightly concerned as to what story you may have heard in regards to your claim…and who are you?

ps… someone had to rent the generators and the lights for the event in question, if I remember correctly, there were 2000 people estimated, and we served hot beverages to the crowd some 7 km’s in the woods…such a good time.
I hope you havent mistaken me for someone else…
