1) How far is it from the ski resort please?
2) is there one bedroom?
3) Is there a somewhat wheelchair-accessible way in?

I’ve lived in dozens of appartments around the world to satisfaction
of all the landlords. I will be working for the WSS in Fernie. Upon reliability check, I can pay a deposit right away.

It is 10 minutes from town but you have to go back out another 5 minutes to the ski area…No wheelchair access, sorry. You can get in through the garage area door to the lower room but then stairs to main living area. It has a large master bedroom, a small office/bedroom and a large family room with a queen size pull out couch.

WSS is Winter Sports School. I expect to host the wheelchair runner lady only for a limited period and I do like Your place.
1) Would she be able to open the garage by herself?
2) are there restrooms adjacent to the lower room?
3) How many stairs does it take to get upstairs?
4) So I assume it is somewhere nearby the Dicken Rd? By the road on the hillside?
5) Availability by 1st Jan?
6) If You had some more pictures (master bedroom, pulled out couch, office/bedroom, stairs, lower room, restrooms) on file, it would be of great help.

It would be difficult to enter via the garage. There is a regular door to the garage but snow would have to be cleared and some kind of a low ramp but then you only get to the rec room and no bath on that floor. Then 13 stairs to the main level.
The house is on Cokato Rd. …south of Fernie.
If you are still interested there are more pictures but I assume the wheelchair issue will eliminate the possibilities.

I see, let me ask a few more question about accessibility:
1) If sb were always comming together with the wheelchair runner, it would take just a few stairs to the large family room. There is some bedroom on that floor. Correct?
2) From what You say, I understand the chalet is located very close to the red pin (picture enclosed). By aerial way, the ski resort is closer, but one can reach it only through the town. This applies for both walking and driving. Correct?
3) I know there is high annual snowfall. Is the Cokato Rd always passable? I believe there is no bus. Can one just walk from there always? Can one usually run a wheelchair from there with an assistent? Or is a car (or even car with a ploughshare:) a neccessity?

The road is plowed usually the day of a big show…you would have to plow the drive with a snow blower. You would have to have a car with all wheel or 4×4. You could not walk…it is 8-10 k one way to town and then another 6 k to the ski area.
don’t think this will work for you.
