      I’m looking for a certified kayak instructor who could possibly teach paddling to 8 beginners in the Fernie pool.

      The challenge might be the pool time however other pools are available. Roxanne Labele is the best instructor in town. She is reachable via Island Lake Lodge 423-3700

      I would suggest giving Blair Craig a call at 250-423-7226. Blair runs one of the local rafting companies (http://www.canyonraft.com/). If he doesn’t offer training himself he might be able to sort you out with someone who does.
