      hey, just wondering if there is anywhere to go ice skating around the area, outdoor or indoor, and when? thanks.

      There are public skates are the arena most days, call 423-4466 for the schedule.

      Some of the local ponds may be cleared, check behind Canadian Tire and in the Annex Park.

      i shovled a fair sized bit of the pond behind extra foods…it may need to be shovled again.
      the spot had cleared is the corner where the ‘beach’ is……it is also the area of the ‘lake’ that is closest to the back of the store so one could easily play hooockey since the lights from the store illum real well.
