can I ask who the vet may be or is it just to show we need one?

We have been taking our dogs to Eureka to the vet there. He is probably the best vet we have ever had! He is so kind, thoughtful and really knows his stuff. The clinic promotes holistic as well standard health care for your pet. He would love to start up a vet clinic in Fernie and is in the process of doing all the paperwork, not to mention the extremely expensive fees to be a vet in Canada, a fee of $1600.00 just to get his licence as to $60.00 in the U.S. He knows there is a need here and if anyone needs a vet, we strongly recommend going the 45 minutes and see Dr. Dave Marion at the A Country Animal Hospital in Eureka, 406-889-5535. All you need to cross the border is have your dogs rabies shot up to date. Hope this helps.
