If you work for RCR (owners of Fernie Alpine resort) you will get a season pass. there are other lodging companies on the hill but arnt part of RCR so its up to that company as to whether they included it in your contract, more often they dont though.
There is a shuttle bus that runs every half hour and cost about $3 per ride ( can get it cheaper if you by a season ticket or book of 10), it starts from in town and stops at a few different places on the hill

Hi Nikki
You’ll hear a lot of different things about working for the hill but have a look at this link for staff benefits. As for a staff shuttle, the resort has organised a free shuttle for staff members for the last 2 yrs. Otherwise there is car pooling, easy hitching and the regular shuttle bus.
As for working for the hill, you might not get paid very much per hour but you’ll meet some pretty cool people and most people have a good experience.
The resort runs a job fair in October and there is another one run in town around the same time.http://www.skifernie.com/the-mountain/e … ffbenefits
Good luck
