Fernie Visit

      Hi There, Myself and 7 friends are heading to Fernie on the 14th of Jan from Scotland. Most of them are snowboarding, however 2 of us shall be skiing. Can someone please advise me how much i can hire ski’s for, we are staying for a week.

      Realy looking forward to our trip, and sampling the atmosphere/beer ive heard so much about. :lol:

      Not sure of prices but you can rent at the resort or at The Quest at Lizard Creek Lodge. They are at the resort so its convinent. The Quest has performance skiis.

      Or try Ski Base (downtown) Demo skiis at $35 a day or $149 for 5 days

      Thank you for your speedy reply, that settles it, i will be hiring them instead of carrying them over with me.

      What kinda prices should we be expecting to pay for beer in the town of an evening? Not essential but helps to know these things!! :roll:

      $4-5 a pint. Sometimes a $11 jug special, about 4 pints.
