I am starting this thread in order to hopefull encourage possitive karma and peace for all.
Being single does have it’s benefits, but lerning how to live and love is definitely a funner co-operative activity.
My mother has aked me to post an ad for her, as I know I will find the right kind of person for her in such a place.
Mom is fivety years young. Owns her own property, just south of town, and is big into the outdoors. She enjoys fishing, hunting and camping. She’s a cowgirl at heart with a heart as big as an arena. She loves animals gardening and travel as well.
I hope she was serious about me posting this ad. But thankfully she has a great sence of humor and the hereditary trait of outgoingness. If you are interested please send me an email to pass on to her as she isn’t much of a techno geek such as myself.
I am also currently single. 26years old, and childless. My dreams include: a family of more than one child. An active roll in local environment, and mostly having good clean fun. I am not a drinker (unless teas and coffees count) and dream of having a small bussiness dealing in music, art, and alternative diets.
I have lived within Fernie most of my life, and have come to take comfort with the sorrounding mountains keeping me secure, like a warm, loving embrace. I personally don’t hunt, but never turn down an offer for wild meat. My favorite computer games are the sims and sim city4. I love snow shoeing and hiking, even if just with the dog, around the city lake. I am mostly optomistic and realistic EI The glass isn’t half full or half empty. The glass is just too damn big.I will leave you with one of my most favorite sayings folks:
Happiness is not a station you arrive at, but more a manner in which to travel.
Peace, Love, and best wishes all. Nate. canatedian@shaw.ca eh.PS. I like smilleys that are animated.

Its always great to make the headline :-p
Well Nate, I’m thinkin your mom is alittle too old for me, although I’m sure shes the bomb!
And in the good spirit of things, heres the situation on the Gavitron:
I’m totally single, afraid to get in a relationship. To be honest, it actually feels more like I don’t want to have a relationship. I think cuz in the past I couldn’t figure out how to handle one and totally screwed them up. Off to a good start here. I’m a born and raised Fernie kid, been here through it all. I used to hate it, but as I’ve gotten older (pushin 23) I’ve started to notice the relaxed way of life and kind of appreciate it now. I manage a business in town, which takes up most of my time. And for all of those worried about small business in town, it is doable, but it takes a hell of a lot of work, more than it probably should. When I do have time off, I go snowmobiling or fishing and sometimes take a road trip. All of which I do alone more often than not. Fernie is the kind of place where people come to have a great time, go crazy, blow money, than head home at the end of the season, making it extremly difficult to find someone that just wants to settle in and enjoy life. At one point in life I drank and did drugs, that all ended when I got out of highschool and wasn’t worried about being cool anymore. I own my own place (its a trailer) because its cheaper than renting in this town that is apparently made of gold. I want a family with a house and a white picket fence.
I’ll stop now because as some of you know, I tend to get carried away typing posts.
For a free ticket to ride the Gavitron call 250-423-8797 (I can’t believe I just typed that in a public forum) or email gavinthomas@shaw.ca
Or if you just wanna have lunch or whatever, thats cool too! -

Glad to hear you weren’t offended man.
Even more happy to hear some possitive input from another local.Maybe a few of us local single males should start a male escort service eh.
Not nessessarily for sex, but how many other local and visiting women, might prefer the comfort of a guy to go to the show, or games with eh?I’ll meditate on it, and get back to yas later eh.
lol and smiling almost all the time.Learning how to live love and learn, just like everyone else.
PS. started some garden plants indoors this week. I might have some extra crimson velvet sunflowers available at the rate they’re goin. Anyone looking to not uproot for the summer season send a request and Ill see What I can do.
Peace, and prosperity all. -
