The Fernie Nordic Society is offering nordic ski lessons to kids for the third year! Our enrollment has doubled over the past two years, and spots are limited!
Lessons will take place Saturday mornings at 10am for an hour, starting in the New Year. Kids aged 3-12 (with possibility of providing a class for older teens) are encouraged join us in our Bunnyrabbit or Jackrabbit lessons. Developed by Cross Country Canada, these programs are designed for youth with little to no previous ski experience. Advanced coaching is available to those who have previous skiing experience. Our coaches are trained by Cross Country BC, and are qualified to deliver high quality lessons, with an emphasis on fun, and enjoying outdoor winter activity.
Lessons are $40 for Bunnyrabbits (ages 3-6) and $50 for Jackrabbits for the whole season. Rental options are limited, but available for those interested.
