Active family of 6 (children aged 4-6-7-9) planning to move for a 1 or 2 years in Fernie next August. Our 3 floor house is presently in the heart of Montreal in a great setting for kids, in front of a park, walkable distance to school, sportive installations, public transport and great shops on Mont-Royal street, in Le Plateau, one of Montreal nicest area. It is non-smoker and dog free, as I am highly allergic, and we are seeking for such a place in Fernie. If ever you and your family are considering a trial of city living in a french (but english friendly) community, that could be your opportunity.
