ParticipantHi guys –
Selling my Nordica Speedmachine 14s – I’m in the same situation as ferniedan in that I can’t get all my skis back to England!
They’re 114-67-100 (tip-waist-tail) with a 15.5 turn radius. Bindings are Marker N0312s (din 3-12) on Nordica’s XBS plate which functions as a riser plate and also increases the ski’s “sweet spot” for balance – this also gives the added flexibility of adjustable boot sole mounting, so I can easily adjust the ski to your boots for you.
The ski itself is nice – it’s torsionally stiff and quite damp, so unlike a lot of carvers it doesn’t try and kill you in ungroomed snow. It’s happy going slow or mach 3 too – I found it really useful doing my CSIA 1 course.
They’ve seen approx 20 days on snow, and I’ll give them a fresh wax and edge before selling them.
Drop me an email at daveconn41@hotmail.com if you’re interested or want to come see them in person – I live in downtown Fernie
