I totally agree with the unhappy posts; the meats are bought as "seconds" for their cheaper buying power if most don’t know this. OW brings in their own first-rate suppliers of meats and has an onsite butcher at all times. As far as the produce goes: have you ever been in OW to find nobody in the department? NEVER. There is definitely no question about Extra Food’s customer service and it certainly does come from the management, which they (Extra Foods/Loblaws) also get paid peanuts, thus the lower prices. For the few savings on some items it certainly does not out-weigh the service you ALWAYS receive at the OW store, right down to packing your own groceries!! Approach the management at both stores and you will find the difference right there also!
