The governments of the Ktunaxa Nation, Yaq̓it ʔa·knuqⱡiʾit, ʔakisq̓nuk, Yaqan Nuʔkiy and ʔaq̓am have declared a State of Emergency regarding the mental health crisis within ʔamakʔis Ktunaxa (Ktunaxa Territory).
