Two Fernie businesses, Lizard Creek Lodge and The Wood Bistro, were each awarded top honours by this year’s Good Skiing and Snowboarding Guide out of the UK.
Lizard Creek Lodge was named ‘Hotel of the Year’ by the 2003 guide, which surveys leading ski resorts around the world. The Wood Bistro earned the award for “Best Resort Restaurant”, and were said to offer “supurb” food, with “big city food at small town prices.”
