On Wednesday, October 9 The Fernie Chamber of Commerce hosted a Fernie All-Candidates Forum at the Park Place Lodge, with all four Kootenay-Rockies candidates in attendance; Sam Atwal (BC NDP), Pete Davis (Conservative Party of BC), Tom Shypitka (Independent) and Kerri Wall (BC Green Party).
The event attracted a crowd of approximately 90 people, offering a valuable opportunity for our community to connect with the candidates, hear their views on key issues, and ask questions that will influence the future of our local economy.
