There are less than two weeks left for interested non-profit organizations to apply for the 2021/2022 Columbia Basin Trust Community Initiatives and Affected Areas Programs.

“These programs make a critical difference in our communities and we want to ensure eligible applicants are aware of the program guidelines and upcoming application deadline, as late applications cannot be accepted,” says RDEK Acting Corporate Officer Tina Hlushak.

Applications must be submitted using an online application system located on https://engage.rdek.bc.ca/cbt. The application deadline is Monday, January 18, 2021 at 2:00 PM. “In addition to the application details, the webpage includes the timelines for this year’s process, a list of previously approved projects and other key information,” adds Hlushak.

The Programs are open to registered non-profit organizations, First Nations, registered schools and local governments. Any private sector proposals must be sponsored by an eligible organization and must clearly demonstrate community benefits. All applications must be submitted prior to the deadline.

The Programs are funded by the Trust and administered by the RDEK.
