Feast For A Cause

The Rotary Club of Fernie is excited to announce the return of Feast for a Cause taking place May 2, 2026. This unforgettable evening celebrates Fernie’s incredible culinary talent, community spirit, and a shared commitment to strengthening local healthcare.

This highly anticipated event features a one-of-a-kind long-table dining experience, where guests enjoy inspired small plates from 12 of the region’s top chefs, representing many of Fernie’s favourite restaurants and hidden gems. From elevated comfort fare to globally inspired creations, each dish highlights the creativity and passion that makes Fernie a culinary destination.

Feast for a Cause

Guided by Culinary Advisor Chef Barrie Elliott of Fernie Catering Co., the evening promises a vibrant and flavour-packed experience you won’t find anywhere else.

More than just a great night out, Feast for a Cause directly supports critical healthcare in the Elk Valley. In partnership with the East Kootenay Foundation for Health (EKFH), funds raised in 2026 will go toward essential cardiac equipment, including a LUCAS Automated Heart Compression System and an ECG machine—tools that can save lives when every second counts.

“Thanks to EKFH’s generous dollar-for-dollar matching commitment, every dollar raised will be matched, doubling the impact for healthcare in our community,” said Bill Pittman, President of the Rotary Club of Fernie.

The evening will feature chef spotlights, culinary awards, DJ and a lively silent auction filled with unique items and experiences donated by local businesses, showcasing the generosity and heart that defines Fernie.

Following two consecutive sold-out events, including a standout 2024 event that raised over $40,000, Feast for a Cause 2026 is expected to sell out quickly. Early ticket purchase is strongly encouraged.

The Rotary Club of Fernie gratefully acknowledges the support of its sponsors, including Founding Partners Elk Valley Resources (EVR), Eldho’s Independent Grocer, PJB Crane Services Ltd., NWP Crown Mountain, Lauren Gervais PREC – Century 21, and Westland Insurance, along with the many local businesses contributing to the silent auction.

Don’t miss your chance to experience Fernie’s best flavours while making a real difference in local healthcare.
