The Training Fee Support Program (TFSP) is a bursary-style program that promotes access to education or training that helps increase the employability of Columbia Basin residents in order to meet current labour market demands.
TFSP provides funding of up to $800 to Columbia Basin residents who meet eligibility criteria. This funding may be used to pay all or part of tuition or course fees for short-term training essential to securing immediate employment. If at least 5 years has passed since an applicant has reached the $800 limit, the individual may be eligible to re-apply for funding.

Basin residents who are unemployed or underemployed may apply. Contact your local Employment Service Centre for further details and eligibility criteria.

This program is delivered through Employment Service Centres. Contact your local Employment Service Centre to arrange an initial consultation with an employment counsellor.
