Fernie Enduro 2020

Are you looking for a mountain bike challenge? Look no further–the Fernie Enduro is going V-I-R-T-U-A-L this Summer 2020. Get yourself to the top of the trail and race to the bottom!

The event will include three Strava timed races over a six-week period on enduro style Fernie trails. A new race will be going live every two weeks and yes, you can better your own time all summer!

All participants must purchase a Fernie Mountain Bike Club membership to participate and win prizes or be crowned–it’s a trails fundraiser.

Race Schedule/Route
Race 1: July 10 / Hyper Extension / Roots Extension to River Road!
Race 2: July 25 / Project 9 / Top Left to Right to ILL road
Race 3: August 7 to 21/ Red Sonya

Race #1 is on, load the Fernie Enduro Hyper Race 1 Segment and ride.

Race 2 is on, load the Project 9 Enduro DH Stage Segment and ride.

Race 3 is on, load the Red Sonya Segment and ride.

There will be participation and KOM & QOM prizes for each race after twp weeks, and the overall fastest time for all three races will be crowned the Fernie Enduro 2020 King & Queen! You can join at any time and race what is open.

You can participate in all 3 races until August 21 and qualify for the final prizing and KOM or QOM. Do them all in one day! This race is about doing your best and having fun!

How to participate:

1. Get your FMBC 2020 membership, if you haven’t already
2. Sign up for Strava
3. Star the Fernie Enduro race segment on Strava, record and ride.

NOTE: It’s best to have race segment on your Strava screen and hit record to ensure a result.

How to qualify for Prizes and KOM / QOM:

Take a screenshot of your race results along with a pre or post shred selfie. Tag Fernie Bike Events @ferniebikeevents Add a couple of hashtags (#gearhubsports and #fernieenduro) and then you are good to go! The more you post the greater your chances of winning great prizes.

This will enter you to win great prizes from Gearhub Sports including quality stuff from RaceFace, OneUp, Evoc, Sram and Abus!

Any finisher disputes will be settled by the administrators.
