Five Days of Dance, Music and Media Art is coming with workshops with Artists from Fernie, Lethbridge, Calgary and Vancouver.
Workshops covering Dance styles such as Vogueing, Waacking, Popping,Locking, Floorwork, Dancehall, Afro, Hip Hop Grooves, Krump, Breakdance, Contemporary and Emotional and Elemental Flow.
Workshops in Music covering Lyricism, Sampling, DJing, Music Production, Cypher Skills and Rap.
Workshops in Media Art covering Painting, Poetry, Creative Writing/Storytelling and Collage/ Mix Media Skills.
Camp will run from 9:00am – 4:00pm with an hour for lunch at 12:00pm-1:00pm.
Wednesdays we will end at 12:00pm because of the fantastic Wednesday Socials that happen at the Arts Station. SoleBeats encourages campers to stick around and have fun at the social. 😀
Campers please bring with you:
– a water bottle
– non messy snacks
– clean indoor RUNNERS and/or jazz shoes.
– outdoor shoes as well.
– paint shirt or smock
– your imagination
– bunches of LAUGHS and a BIG SMILE 😀
