Naked by the Fire is a Victoria based band who play an electric mixture of indie, rock, and folk.

While their genre may be hard to define, the influences are easy to track. They began their musical journey enraptured by the lyricism and harmony of the folk/singer-songwriter tradition, then got a serious buzz off the rock and post-punk scene, then added a healthy dose of jazz-lite spontaneity.

Mix in a slew of summers planting trees in Northern BC, and the result is Naked by the Fire, ‘Canada’s loudest folk band’.
