Fernie Alpine Resort is proud to announce the return of the Jeep Junior Freeskiing to Fernie.

This year’s event will once again be an IFSA National Event stop. Winners of the Fernie event will gain points towards being the North American Junior Freeski Champion!

Come out and watch some of the best junior freeskiers in North America display their skills here at Fernie Alpine Resort.

Competitors will display their skiing skills on natural terrain while being judged on 5 categories – Line Choice, Control, Fluidity, Technique and Style/Energy.

The event is open to skiers ages 7 to 18 with the following categories – Boys 7-11, Girls 7-11, Boys 12-14, Girls 12-14, Boys 15-18 and Girls 15-18.
