DESCRIPTION:\nElk Valley & Area Hospice will host the 3rd Annual Hike for H
 ospice\, raising funds for end-of-life care and grief support in the Elk V
 alley.\n\nParticipants can join individually or as teams and are invited t
 o hike in honour or memory of a loved one. Placards will be available on-s
 ite.\n\nRegistration opens at 9:30 a.m. with a 10:00 a.m. start. Routes fo
 llow the Montane Green – Easy Beaver Trail\, with distance options of 1 
 km\, 3.5 km\, or 7 km.\n\nRegistration is free here. All participants rece
 ive a goodie bag and entry into draw prizes. Donations and fundraising are
  encouraged but not required. Remote participation is also supported.
