DESCRIPTION:The Fernie Chamber AGM will review what the organization accomp
 lished in 2025\, including key operational highlights and a financial upda
 te from the Executive Director.\n\nMembers can expect a straightforward ov
 erview of the year’s activities\, along with insight into priorities mov
 ing forward. The AGM also provides an opportunity to connect with fellow C
 hamber members\, with time set aside for networking over a light breakfast
  sponsored by Freshies.\n\nThis annual meeting is both a reporting session
  and a chance to strengthen local business connections within the Fernie c
 ommunity.\n\nAbout the Guest Speakers:\n\nJeremy Johnston\, Director of Pl
 anning and Development Services for the City of Fernie\, will present an u
 pdate on strategic projects of interest to Chamber members\, including the
  Official Community Plan update process. He will also provide updates on t
 he ongoing work to enhance Fernie's development approval processes\, inclu
 ding the anticipated spring launch of digital planning approvals.\n\nKatey
  Taylor\, Executive Director of the Elk Valley Family Society\, will prese
 nt an overview of the organization’s current portfolio and the essential
  services and housing it provides to the community. She will also share up
 dates on upcoming projects\, including the redevelopment of the Old Fireha
 ll and the Childcare Housing Project\, and how these initiatives will supp
