DESCRIPTION:Engage in the Earth Day Community Cleanup at the Heritage Libra
 ry to help tidy our town of trash left behind after the snow melt\, and cr
 eate a visual statement to highlight the impact of littering.\n\nHow it wo
 rks:\n\n– On Friday April 24th between 11am and 5:30pm pop into the libr
 ary to pick up gloves and bags (kindly donated by Fernie Home Hardware).\n
 \n– On Saturday April 25th grab your people and get outside to pick up s
 ome garbage!\n\n– Once your bags are full\, bring them to the library (w
 e will be open 11am – 4pm) and throw it onto the back of the Home Hardwa
 re truck so it can be disposed of in the right manner.\n\n– Enjoy coffee
  provided by Fernie Starbucks and snacks provided by Eldho’s Independent
  Grocer.\n\n**Please note**\n\n– They will only accept trash bags from t
 he community clean-up\, NOT household or personal yard waste.\n\n– Ferni
 e Home Hardware will be by at 4pm on Saturday to take the trash truck and 
 dispose of it.
