The City of Fernie Five Year Financial Plan is open to the public.

Building the City’s Five Year Financial Plan is an ongoing annual process involving Council, public and administration. To inform the priorities of the Five Year Financial Plan Council hosted an Open Forum meeting and Public Survey in November 2016.

To conclude the budget process the public is encouraged to attend a presentation at the following public meeting:

Following the presentation and public feedback Council will consider first three readings of the 2017 – 2021 Five Year Financial Plan Bylaw and the 2017 Tax Rate Bylaw at the Regular Meeting on Monday, April 24, 2017 at 7:00 p.m., City Hall, 501 – 3rd Avenue, Fernie, BC.

The 2017 – 2021 Five Year Financial Plan Bylaw and the 2017 Tax Rate Bylaw will be presented for adoption at the Regular Meeting of Council on Monday, May 8, 2017 at 7:00 p.m. at City Hall, 501 – 3rd Avenue, Fernie, BC.
