The Elk River Alliance is inviting you to get out this spring, summer, and fall in family units to help clean up shorelines in the Elk River Watershed.

If you would like to participate please message info@elkriveralliance.ca. They can get you set up with cleaning supplies for your household, including some gloves, garbage bags, a data card, and snacks to help fuel you through your cleanup. A drop off with supplies will be coordinated at a mutually agreed upon time outside of the Elk River Alliance office.

Please record where you went, what you picked up, and how many people helped out because this is important data to collect as part of a citizen science initiative. If you’re comfortable with it, please take a photo and send it too!
