Mark your calendars for Wildsight’s 2022 Seedy Saturday online event in Fernie.

Online event will include:
– FREE SCREENING – The award-winning documentary “Modified – A food lovers journey into GMOs” Film streaming will be available to watch all day Saturday & Sunday
– LIVE WORKSHOP – Seeds of Diversity Canada’s Executive Director Bob Wildfong will present on growing for seeds followed by a Q&A session at 12pm
– SEED SWAP – an email order-and-pickup seed exchange running for the entire month of February. Our list of seeds will be posted soon!
– SEED SAVING – tutorials and presentations will be available. Stay tuned for details
– SEED LIBRARY MEMBERSHIPS – Get your Fernie Cold Climate Seed Library membership
– GARDEN ZOOM CHAT – Join us for our local gardeners zoom chat. Time TBA
– SHARING SEEDS – If you have surplus seeds that you have collected from your garden, please consider sharing them! Drop off your seeds, cleaned and labeled (include as much info about the plant as you can) to the Local store, 632 2nd Avenue in Fernie (store hours 2-6pm, Tuesday through Saturday).
