The annual film festival is back with a new and exciting group of films that are sure to satisfy even the most discerning of film goers
as well as a series of shorts for the children out there. Celebrate the Canadian Film-making industry at the 3rd Annual Reel Canadian
Film Festival. On March 25th – 27th, 2011, we welcome Canada to Fernie for a showcase of film excellence and a schedule packed with
entertaining, challenging and exceptional work. Our program features entertaining childrens shorts from the National Film Board;
‘Focus on Vancouver’ shorts from emerging film-makers; FIVE feature films; our gala reception and a Fubar II party. Come meet our
special guests, Fathers and Sons actor Jay Brazeau on Friday, March 25th and Fubar 2 co-star, David Lawrence on Saturday, March 26th.

Evening films will screen at the Vogue Theatre.
Matinees will screen at the Arts Station.

Friday, March 25th, 2011
7pm: Fathers & Sons
9pm: Opening Gala Reception at the Central. Q&A with our special guests and Fathers & Sons actors Jay Brazeau and Stephen Lobo.
Enjoy a complimentary beverage, appetizers and a dj.

Saturday, March 26th, 2011
10am: Little Reels for Kids at the Arts Station. Fun for the whole family. Join us for a selection of National Film Board animated
shorts from award-winning filmmakers.
3pm: Focus on Vancouver at the Arts Station
7pm: Daydream Nation
9pm: Fubar 2
10:30pm: Fubar 2 After-party at The Central with our special guest, Fubar 2 co-star David Lawrence.
Enjoy live music by Toronto’s celtic-rock band, The Mudmen.

Sunday, March 27th, 2011
5pm: Last Train Home
6:15pm: Closing Reception
7pm: Incendies

Festival Passes (a $70 value – includes all events) and opening night tickets are available in advance at The Arts Station, the Vogue
Theatre and Midge’s Mags. Other individual tickets sold only at the door.
