1. Wildlife Safety Open House
The Wildsight Office on 2nd ave will host its 1st annual Wildlife Safety Open House, which will feature fun activities over the afternoon. Along with the games and workshops, education on wildlife safety, electric fencing, food preservation, composting etc will be provided. The event will wrap up with a Staying Safe in Bear Country Movie.

2. Angela Morgan Artist Demonstration
Local loved artist Angela Morgan will be demonstrating her skills at her gallery this Thursday. Admission by donation, come down to see this very talented artist at work.

3. Fernie Flyers Cross Series
The third installment of the Flyers Bike Series takes place this Sunday. While the warm weather continues, join in on a half hour free family bike ride. The route is great for all ages and abilities.

4. Emily Brydon Golf Tournament
Join in the most fun golf event of the summer. A good-humored, unconventional day of golf contributes to the Emily Brydon Youth Foundation, which allows children to experience sports, art and other activities. A great event in support of the Elk Valley community.

5. Tom Savage at The Arts Station
An evening of live Indie music at The Arts Station. Tom Savage has been busy touring Canada this summer and makes his stop on Saturday in Fernie. Tickets are available in advance or at the door.
