The Guide’s Hut rents snowshoes, touring skis with skins, touring splitboard with skins as well as avalanche transceivers, probes, shovels, packs and ABS airbags. They also book the Thunder Meadows and Tunnel Creek Huts. Find them on Fernie’s main street, @ 671 Second Ave. Call 250-423-3650.
