It hasn't snowed in (what) ten days; it feels like an eternity. Still despite the lack of freshies on the mountain, the cruising was pretty darned fine today. There was a fairly good breeze blowing so many of the gullies and depressions were filled with nice wind sifted snow. Because the hill was nearly deserted you could open it up and let the side cut do its thing. Its great when the mountain is nice and quite on the weekends.

Temperatures have been hovering around zero with some melting action in town. Wallaby was actually quite wonderful today as it receives the full brunt of the mid afternoon sun and it was corn snow along the edge. Mmmm.

The forecast for the next week is looking much the same as what we have had for the past week. Some sun, some cloud, some more sun.

And Dale from England, seeing as how you are the only one to respond to my question last week (I'm so sad), I'm going to grant you no lift lines and a deserted mountain for your holiday next week. Just stay away from the bottom of the mountain and play in the big open bowls. Actually, thinking about it now, it is Family Day in Alberta so you might have to wait until Tuesday for your little gift.

Cheers.
