Early season conditions at Fernie Alpine Resort are exceptional. Each time I make it out for some turns I am impressed by the amount of snow coverage so early in the season.
This morning I found the off-piste terrain to be especially challenging so I stuck to the corduroy groomers. The groomed runs are in excellent condition and very fast! Fernie Alpine Resort announced today that the Timber and White Pass chairs will open this Friday, December 12, 2003. See you out there.
