I didn’t plan to go up to the hill today, but the snow that was falling all day outside my window kept dragging my attention away from my computer. When I did get up there, I found that the snow had softened the hill. I ran into a goofy friend on the Elk chair and we did a couple runs in Lizard and Cedar. The gully I wrote about the other day was still in good shape, but not nearly as fun as it was when it was thigh deep in snow.
I don’t ski over on K.C. very often. Usually if I’m going that far, I make the effort to get to Red Tree or Gorby, but occasionally, especially if upper Cedar is closed, it can be a lot of fun. There’s a bunch of snow predicted for the next couple of days so I suspect I’ll be back there.
Quote of the day:
“And you say there's more snow coming?!?”
