I haven’t decided if all the snow we’ve gotten lately means March has come in as a lion or as a lamb. It’s certainly white and fluffy like a lamb. Regardless, there’s snow. Lot’s of snow right now. The official report had us getting about 20cm from Sunday morning to Monday morning. But those of us that were on the slopes at 8:59 Monday morning can tell you that it felt like more.

Heather, Angie and I did a cruiser down North Ridge and Lower to warm up. I’m still loving that fluff on groomer thing there. From there we did King Fir, then Linda’s both of which were in great shape. Although King Fir was getting scraped off a bit on the steeper sections. We had a fantastic run in the trees on Cedar Ridge and I think I have a new favorite spot. The right-most gully in K.C. Chutes. It’s steep and tight, but full of snow it’s like a water slide - more fun than a barrel of Vikings.

Quote of the day:

“If you’re not falling down, you’re not getting any better.”
