Well I am sure my neighbors dog Neve isnt the only one in town jumping for joy over the snow that fell today. It was the end of a three week drought and it dumped heavily all day long. Temperatures climbed during the day mind you and by nightfall the mild temperatures brought an all too familiar site to the valley. Where the freezing level is at this evening is anybodys guess but we can only hope that the liquid precipitation is limited to the valley floor as the temperatures cool.
Yeah, today it looked like winter was once again back. It was a dramatically different day from yesterday where a friend and myself went for a good road bike ride in the sun and on gravel free pavement out by Wardner. If felt really good to unlock the bike from the stationary trainer and roll freely along a ribbon of highway.
Weather for the next few day is looking like a mix of sun and flurries.
