Today was my first day up in three days and I was a little nervous. There’s been quite a bit of precipitation over the past couple of days and not all of it was snow. So, I was not surprised to find some of the non-groomed runs in tough shape, but I was pleasantly surprised to find Cedar bowl in very good shape.
Cedar bowl hasn’t been open the last little while, but it was open today. My run down Cedar Ridge in the trees was definitely the run of the day. And a note to those that left early today, and you know who you are, the premium skiing today was the last hour.
At mid-day today, it was right around -1C with light snow above the Bear’s Den.
Quote of the day:
“I don’t care what you say. This is nice.”
Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow…
