27 cm of snow have blanketed Fernie Alpine Resort in the past 48 hrs, with lucky residents waking up to 22 cm of fresh powder this morning! Whooo hooo.

Spot the powder snorkel in the above picture of this skier taken on Cedar Ridge this morning .

Only the powder triangle was open most of the day due to avalanche danger…..there is still lots of untouched powder left in those bowels for tomorrow with more snow forcast for tonight, so pull out your fat skis and beacons

When you wake up to this amount of snow on your patio in the morning you just know its going to be a good powder day!
