Canada’s top mogul skiers are in Tignes, France for the start of the FIS Freestyle World Cup season. Leading the Canadian team this week are current World Champions Kristi Richards of Summerland, BC and Pierre-Alexandre Rousseau from Drummondville, QC.
The team has been training in Tignes for the past few days and are anxious to get the season underway on Thursday, December 13.
“It’s great to get the competitive season started,” said Richards. “We’ve all put in a lot of great training this summer and fall, now we get to put it all to work.”

After Christmas, the team will compete in Lake Placid, New York before returning to Canada for the Canada Post Freestyle Grand Prix at Ski Mont Gabriel, QC January 26 & 27.
